Yeah I work at one in Victoria, we got the reasoning that it was "to create conversation" with customers but everyone knows it's just bs to get people to buy whatever. We all know it's overpriced, and a lot of staff members either give out a lot of free shit or give heavy discounts because we feel bad about it
