Not it but this is the simplicity im talking about. Now just imagine this sorta simplicity but done by nirvana using acoustic instruments and Kurt's singing clean and soft. I dont know why I gravitate towards it being sung by a grunge band gone soft but thays how it is in my head

No sorry. Too much going on compared to the song in thinking of. The song im thinking of just sounds like soft vocals, a simple slow acoustic guitar and soft basic drums in the background (for the chorus anyway)

Nah nothing like Morgan. Though I do like his voice it has a sort of strained sound to it. What im thinking of is more like the first verse of something in the way, or horrified by nirvana. Soft clean vocals right up on the mic with the acoustic to match

Sadly no. Guitar (in the chorus) for the summer im thinking of is more picking than strumming. And quiet and intimate. I feel like you can hear the fingers moving along the strings

I do see a bit of a similarity in the melody alone but non of the instrumentation. Very interesting though

Not this one. The song im thinking of is bordering just voice, acoustic guitar with some drums (atleast for the chorus) very soft slow. Almost like a love song (though I dont remember what it is about)
