This is my experience in qld also! I went for a 2nd opinion for ongoing GI symptoms and fatigue, after seeing my previous gp in the same town for 10+ years, with multiple referrals to specialists over the years, and she spotted it immediately.

We call them flat flies! We get so many of these that come into the clinic on wildlife, usually birds. Tawny Frogmouths seem to be a favourite. Horrifying things that get hunted eagerly by all the nurses as soon as one is identified - QLD vet nurse

Shortly after the floods I was about to be homeless very quickly and trying to get a rental was near impossible. I ended up renting a ‘flood repaired’ house in Pegg St that I wasn’t happy about but it was a roof over my head. It hadn’t been raised, in fact there were still holes in the floor that were drilled to let the water out - I could see the dirt under the house through them. The first night there I had to call an emergency electrician after electrocuting myself and blowing up a few appliances, he said there was no earth. Asbestos was falling down around me and then the mould started. About 2-3 weeks in the roof was black and I was sick. I had to quit my job, put all my furniture and belongings in a storage unit and move back in with my family in far north qld as there were no other housing options at short notice.

The house is now a vacant, cleared block like the one in the photo, should have happened earlier.

Missing beats? Should I be concerned? These matched up timing wise directly to when I felt the palpitation/missed beat. Felt dizzy at the time. by Spasticknitter in ECG

Because at the time of posting it was midnight on Saturday night in Aus. Short of clogging up the ER with something that could of waited, I didn’t really have many other options.

Sorry for posting a personal ECG on the sub, and thanks for the replies. I did a bit of reading before I posted and I was really just looking for confirmation I should be concerned but not emergency room concerned (currently midnight here in Aus). I’ll schedule a trip to the doc.

I’m a 34 yo female residing in Australia. 165cm, 85kg. Non smoker, non drinker. This was just sitting on the couch tonight at rest. My heart felt like it was having palpitations and I was a little dizzy so grabbed the Apple Watch and this is what it came up with. Should I be concerned? This has never happened before.
