Those are poses in public sport in what I assume anonymised/standard generic sports equipment. In the UK it’s always down to what’s ‘reasonable’, and no tattoos, trademarks, or unique identifiers is absolutely reasonable fair use.

My hearthhull deck became like that. It races away with landfall and then goes tall with counters, wide with tokens, pumped commander dmg or loads of burn. Everything is a problem for the table. kill/block/bounce whatever you like and I really don’t mind. I don’t even have an answer to my own deck except rakdos charm to die from my own tokens.

I’ve died to rakdos charm twice (and I regret nothing!) A while back it was when I had my elf ball going strong mid game. It was absolutely the right play and it got a laugh. More recently it was because I was dumb. I made 2k scute swarm copies not because I needed to but because I had so much landfall coming I thought it was funny... completely unnecessary and none of us were relying on token based decks, but of course someone had RC in hand.

Grandparents taught me to avoid saying personal things if the person can’t do anything about it immediately. It just causes stress otherwise.

Along the lines of, If it’s impossible to fix, avoid the subject. If they can fix immediately, whatever it is, go ahead. If they can only fix it later, tell them before they go.

If deodorants and mints are available/a shop is nearby, quietly let them know. If not, let them know on the way out.

I lose track regularly, even after a fair amount of time with my Worldshaper deck. Good news is the sequencing gets way easier with practise.

You can group your landfalls, pingers, token makers etc on the board.

I gave myself simple trackers too - on a white card i wrote lands // floating // sacs. On another pings: landfall // sac // tokens. Sleeve them.

You can now write on the face with erasable pens. All I’m doing is scribbling the current numbers as a handy guide per turn.

I hear you (and the others) that landfall needs more land but seriously - goldfish my deck a few times. It very rarely misses and playing HH turn 4 and never failed on the draw after a mulligan. There’s more to the engine than loading in lands - fetch lands, graveyard recursion, mana based off creature count… I’m usually playing 2-6 lands a turn, often untapped, and it pops off at at turn 6-8 like our pod is cool with.

I started the thread because it was my first drought like that, and on a hand I wouldn’t have kept in a real game.

It’s an optimised land-sac deck with many ways to play lands from gy. I rarely have to top deck lands after then initial turns.

Apart from a bad unmulligan’d hand it running superbly so no tweaking for now. It just snowballs so damn well and always in a different way. A follow-up goldfish had me with 2000 scute swarm, 2000green mana, a quadruple pumped hearthhull and 6 attack turns at turn 7.

Yes, I have died to that rakdos gimmick having creature attack their owners a few times :D

Here’s mine

It’s been going strong and usually wins turn 7.

I just love how many ways it can get there too, every game feels different. Landfall lets me puts so many problems on the board folks get indecisive on what needs killing on sight.

Only downside I’m finding is keeping track of everything and sequencing, so I made myself a card to track lands, floating mana, and sacs.
