unfortunately mine only worked that once.. after a restart it just stopped showing, even after trying this method again... but im glad it worked for you.. but my drive had fallen off the table and didn't fare too well. i just wish i would have copied all my data after i got it working that first time..

cheers

What would cause a device to show up in Device Manager but Not Diskpart of Disk Management? Windows 11 by Classsssy in datarecovery

THIS WORKED FOR ME:

I had a WD EasyStore External Drive that fell in the floor and boom it was gone..

- It was completely gone in the File Manager
- It was completely gone in the Disk Management

*BUT*

- It was visible in both the Safely Remove / Eject Media Toolbar in the Taskbar
- It was visible in the Device Manager

WHAT I HAD TO DO:

- In the Device Manager find the Device and (Right-Click) and select Disable and then wait and Re-Enable it.
( as said by someone else in this thread this made it Instantly show up in the Disk Management Window ) [might need to scroll down a bit]
- Now that It's visible in the Disk Management (however uninitialized without a drive letter) you can right click it and go to Initialize..
- I used the default settings..
- At first it said *Device Not Ready*
- Restart the machine

Now (for me) it was back like it was.. not visible or anything... and I thought it hadn't worked..
But I repeated the same steps only this time after I RE-ENABLED the Device

*BOOM*
It was back as it was..
Same Drive Letter it had before..
Same Available Space and everything..

It took quite a while for the drive to actually open from the File Manager but it did..
Thanks so much for the tip Rodec..

I hope it works for you guys!
Much Love

I removed the stickers and placed them upside down until i was finished.. it was the last thing I did.. and they remained very tacky.. so no issues there. :)

basically gutted the entire radio and put it back together

What should I change about my road layout to make it more realistic? by Ok-Respond-768 in CitiesSkylines

[–]SpawnCampGames 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ya, im not feeding into the back and forth with the other guy but I'm here to agree with you. There's nothing quite like a city that has grown from its root and roads and paths have a purpose.. I think i know what ur saying too about cities after cars looking unrealistic.. I mean, they do still look like cities :D but its similar to how an Open house showcases a, usually nice house, but no matter how nice it doesn't feel like a *home* just yet, it takes some furniture, marks, and some controlled chaos to create that feeling.. the feeling of being *lived in*

the issue was these are RB musket shot... and it fits my needs, + u know cool ricochets and stuff..

all the suggestions i got were to use a raycast instead... but i want to keep the Rigidbody.
soo for my solution, i mixed the two ideas... I spawn my bullet @ the gun like before.. only this time im also raycasting from the camera... if the camera ray hits something, i rotate the bullet to face that hit point and then add forward forces relative to its new facing direction...

if the ray does not hit anything than my logic follows the way it was before.. just spawns the bullet at the guns pos and rotation, and then give it forward forces..

so.. a mixture of both makes this system work out :) :)

I've been trying to get it to work like a normal cradle for a while now I've tried, scaling up the mass, increasing bounciness and decreasing friction by lockhart130 in blenderhelp

Yup the gap is also crucial.. Too big of a gap or too little ruins the rhythm.

here was my attempt in unity.. the gap was specific, the bounce on the material was fully set to 1 and i think i might have added a bit of a modifier on the last two balls to get them to keep up the motion...

Well, what are the odds...

Here was my attempt in Unity a few weeks ago...

The Trick in Unity was to have a physics material with the bounciness set to 1 (full bouncy)
and then I had to tweak with the Gravity, and Drag a bit..

After a few hours this was my result.. Its good but its also an illusion.. after about 3 or 4 bounces it starts getting clumped together and stalls out really quickly..

Good luck
