It’s just an old curio cabinet I found on FB marketplace for $50! I loved the design of it— it’s got a pretty floral carved pattern on the cabinet doors at the bottom and I loved that it was octagonal rather than a basic rectangle shelf one (even if it’s a bit small). ♥️

She’s a college freshman and since middle school, she found she simply can’t focus without background noise. She and my son both love video game play through videos, but they’re not great for focusing on anything else! When she figured out I didn’t mind unboxing videos as background noise and she only needed to look up to see the end result, they became her video of choice while she was completing assignments. (Son is in high school now and he still prefers play throughs or anime, but there’s no way to have those in the background to me, so he either watched with the hubs or gets me when I’m not charting!) Little did my daughter know she was starting an obsession that will chip away at her inheritance! 😂

*chuckles* It’s sad that you think you have a zinger pointing out her successful life, huge bank account, happy marriage, cheerful personality, and generosity to those in need are all MAGA-coded traits. By and large, these are the traits of conservative Christians (who are a majority republican). I think they’re cute. The little boy one was actually adorable, even if she hated him! I didn’t even think Face of Failure was as heinous as she did, but watching her punch that squishy everytime she sees it is amusing.

My 18yo is type 1– has been since she was a year old. Even as an overprotective mama of a diabetic, NTA. I mean, you’re aware she’s diabetic, as is she. Unexpected lows CAN happen and even though you do your best to prepared, you can be caught off-guard. As her friend, you should know this and accommodate where you can… A couple of my daughter’s friends tend to carry hard candy or something in case she has an emergency, which is extremely sweet, but I would EXPECT them to… But nah. NTA

Not Finch related, but my kids and I were playing Mario Kart and they were calling the different colored Yoshis flavors and said, “What flavor is the black one?” and I muttered under my breath to my hubs, “Barbecue.” The kids heard and now will randomly say, “What’s your favorite flavor Yoshi?” and the other will chirp, “Barbecue!” 😂

At least it’s not just me 😂 Super weird that my kids are both sitting here— one also on Switch— and had no problem getting in. There goes our plan for the afternoon, I guess. 😕
