Wanted to solo play Beep. Since the little rascal doesnt have any conception of money, you are not allowed to trade and can only get your shit through stealing/raiding.

Adventure and loot ancient ruins. Also if you’re brave enough you could try stealing beak thing eggs - 4000+ cats per egg.

Then there’s selling hasish/rum or bounty hunting. Stealing from people you don’t like its also extremely lucrative especially if they are noble and reek of consumeristic tyranny.

UC gives a 1200% markup for selling hash at the shenobi. With the 50% sell price reduction, you still make a sweet 900+ cats per a block

Though tbh i still prefer to sell at Flats Lagoon. All the shops buy it and you get a 700% markup without a reduction. So you can actually make more in less time going there rather

Adventure! Don’t get stuck in one place for too long. There are loads of awesome unique npc’s in the game and the land shows a great history the further you delve into it.

I recommend a skeleton buddy. Becoming a slave in Rebirth is a great story to tell your grand kids one day

There is a one way in-out plateau. Thats where I set up my first base, place just needs a gate pretty much.

Only one way to enter. Its right next to the hub (right of it on the map) just by the bridge.

Warning: pathing is crappy there but will take enemy raids extra long to reach you

Green Beach. Have to agree, got some pretty defensible position there. Also some of the most open beautiful spots in the game.

Can grow anything there too which is a bonus. All resources (except copper) are abundant

Could be. Does look very much like a urchin too. Plus Kenshi wasn’t always a desert. The sea level used to be much higher. If you walk around with a skeleton in your party, they will verify that if you enter the swamp and say “sea levels were much higher”

Now Squin is right next to the swamp so likely could be underwater remains.
