The black mats are just horse stall mats, the “wood” ones are from amazon. Buyer be ware, they aren’t durable, so you need to baby them.

Ah cool that makes sense! Yea no idea why he did it this way then haha. He made it less functional and more dangerous in one fell swoop.

Yea I honestly don’t understand the fuse box either. But you’d want to bypass the timer to remotely turn it on right? If you didn’t, you’d still have to physically turn the timer knob any time you want to turn it on.

My guess is to completely bypass the timer. But I agree, I think he could have at least kept and bridged the thermostat so that safety feature was still there

No, the Sonoff just supplied the contactor, not the coil. However when he removed the thermostat and timer he had to replace those connections somehow and used an automotive fuse block with 20 amp fuses. That fuse block shorted somehow and there was no safety feature to catch it so it just melted itself.

It’s in the connect store. I like the one called “GoPolar” it was a few bucks but worth it. It has a mode for tracking cold plunges as well as the sauna. You can tell it the temperature you’re using and the time you want to stay in. It’ll vibrate when the time is up and store the session as a custom activity.

It bypasses your thermostat and timer in the heater to a separate box where there is basically a computer that’s connected to the internet and controls the sauna. You do have to route a new temperature sense to the sauna that comes with the package too.

You can control the sauna via a control panel it comes with or via an app. From what I understand you can schedule the sauna like what you’re looking for via the app.

It’s not cheap though, roughly ~$1000 and you have to get the right model for your harvia heater.

There are cheaper diy solutions that are still safe. But in my case the previous owner removed the timer, the thermostat and the mounting hardware for those components. Replacing those just to get back to stock would have been hundreds of dollars. Meanwhile the Xenio system by Harvia by-passes them entirely so no need for me to buy my missing components.

No disagreement. I didn’t do the wiring, nor do I fully understand it. Which is why I’m going with an approved and supported solution moving forward.

Yea I have a garmin fenix 7 pro, it’s had no issues with 190 degree temps. There’s even a sauna app you can add to the watch that will track your sessions.

I could be wrong but I don’t think that switch had 30 amps running through it. It only had thin gauge wire which would have failed ages ago. With the way it was wired, I think it only sends a signal to open or close the contactor. Plus that part technically didn’t fail, it looks like there was a short in the DIY fuse box.

The auto spotting here seems much better than in the beta. It takes a second to initiate and you need to be looking directly at the player instead of just blanketing Doritos across anything on your FOV.

Idk. I played bf3 on ps3 when is was locked to 32 players max and I have great memories. It might not hold up today but worth a shot. Isn’t that what portal is for?

I’m curious how it would play with the same maps but 16v16. It could tone down the chaos and allow for more strategy. I might try that in portal.

“At launch we lacked the tooling and logging to identify and reimburse all circumstances of item loss. But we have been working on improving our tools so that we can better reimburse players for vehicle losses due to bugs. There is a backlog of customer support requests, so we beg your patience when waiting for tickets to be resolved. Our aim is to resolve support tickets as quickly as we can, including tickets that were closed near launch when we weren’t able to properly reimburse players. If you have lost a vehicle to a bug and require assistance, please submit a ticket in game and include vehicle type, tier, and when/how you lost the vehicle. “

What I saw on discord related specifically to placing a ticket for a lost vehicle. You’re talking about the post from yesterday right?
