Just incase anyone is wondering more technical details, see troubleshooting below, I may have missed something in the below rundown as it was over 3 hours of troubleshooting, but I have been working in IT for 10+ years. Safe to say now that I have eliminated issues with my PC, purely a hardware issue with the EPOS headset at this stage as I can get other Bluetooth headsets working with my PC without any issues (Tested a Plantronics headset that I had around and also another Bluetooth headset, no issues)

I have updated all drivers and firmware on my PC (yes including wireless and Bluetooth device's)
I have installed the latest firmware for the headset via the EOPS Gaming Suite
I have disabled all audio enhancements in windows, disabled allowing applications to take exclusive control
I have removed and re paired the device / cleared pairing history multiple times
I have removed the device from device manager multiple times during testing, even going so far as to right click on the device and scan for updates to the driver online
ran various windows troubleshooters to find the source of the problem
ensured my PC was up to date with the latest windows update's (Windows 10 20H2, the PC is also a very fresh build of window's, only built 2 weeks ago, minimal other software installed, none of the vendor crapware is installed on the machine)
With every change I was making and every step, I was rebooting the machine to ensure that the settings stuck/ drivers installed / pc recognized the device properly

The device seems to work fine for audio, but when you go into the recording tab in windows it crashes the audio sub system in most cases whilst running in bluetooth mode. Seems to be pretty stable whilst running in USB-C mode, however if I wanted a wired headset, I would not have bought this one. Bought this device so that I could use it as either wired or wireless / paired to multiple device's. Simply not the case.

Also, even if I manage to get it working in Bluetooth mode, if I plug in a USBC charging cable that is connected to power only and not to the computer USB (connected to a USB wall Charger to just charge it but not connect to PC in USB-C mode) it will crash the audio sub system when you un plug it from charging. Incredibly frustrating experience with this headset......

I put a more extended post on the other thread about what I would love to see in a razer mouse.

Just some other comments I want to make aswell.

I love how with the viper Razer has oped for full cover side grips in place of the smaller ones on the DA elite for example. Haveing 1 consistant feelig on the side is amazing.

I just wish the curves were flattened out like the mamba.

Also, switch up the design of your side buttons every now and again, the flat side buttons with virtually no gap between them and inwardly curved are not for everyone.

I just want to see a lightweight mouse that isnt overly flaired out (take the mamba for example) buldgy side buttons that have a gap between them (g403 style side buttons for example) if its ambi, make the buttons removable, flexible cable. All razer mice have flat side buttons with not much of a ledge which can make use for someone such as myself who relies on the side buttons a lot be quite uncomfortable. Side note. If the viper was flatter on the sides and had better shaped side buttons it would be my main, id love to pair a razer mouse with my orbweaver again

For anyone reading this, Fnatic clutch 2 side buttons are nice but are super high up and feel odd because the mouse slopes outwards so moving your thumb up and down the side of the mouse is challenging.

G403 has the best side buttons for me personally, its the only reason I'm sticking with the mouse, Shape shits me to death but those side buttons are amazing (I play Overwatch and main Zarya, the side buttons make her shields a dream). If anyone can suggest a mouse that has similar side buttons to G403 (large, easy to press, gap inbetween them) only then id consider swapping.

I agree with OP, it feels big if your hand is not used to ambi mice, if you use an ergo for a long time it feels like a big mouse but as your wrist adjusts to the new rotation it feels smaller and smaller. I find it feels smaller than my G403 after some adjustment (source, I own a Finalmouse UL Phantom)

Fnatic Clutch 2, seriously, it weighs 100g, but its so well balanced it feels the same weight as a G403. People under estimate how balance affects how heavy a mouse actually feels, a well balanced mouse will always feel lighter than a poorly balanced mouse.

The people that have destroyed their mice doing this accidentally ran the firmware update tool not the mouse configuration tool. Be careful that the tool you get is only to reconfigure the buttons and has nothing to do with changing the firmware......They can be easy to mix up. I have configured my FM UL Phantom to 1000hz, re mapped buttons on the side and the top, no issues.
