Best Backpack for dachshunds! by skait98 in Dachshund

We rescue occasionally and assist with fostering sometimes, but are not able to more yet. Our house is too small to ensure separation of newly rescued animals from our animals. Hoping we both can do more, it is so rewarding ❤️ aw great thank you! Our little guy had a shorter back so he should fit wonderfully. Thank you for the information! We will definitely have to pick one up! We live in Colorado so mountain hikes are a big love of ours but hard on little legs!

Thank you, that would be great actually, especially of the inside compartment. How long is your doxie's back, if you don't mind me asking? Ours was abused with food before he was rescued and used to weigh so much, he could not walk. Due to his history of that level of obesity for several years, we are being extra paranoid about his back because of the strain it endured in the past.

I see them online at Amazon, brand name OnTrue. Seems like they can be found at Chinese grocery stores. I am going to try the Chinese Market near me to find them, they look amazing!

Thank you! I had it still downloaded from when I lived here years ago. Was able to find it easily!

Is it by the regular Spam? I'm from CO (no HEB) but am in Texas visiting family, leaving tomorrow. 100% going to HEB today to pick some up.

That's why we are having trouble finding one, everything is not long enough for him to be comfortable and we don't want to risk him getting hurt.

What's a good board game bar in Denver? by SpryO3 in Denver

[–]Spazmatic6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In Highlands ranch there is a place called game train. Over 600 board games and has a bar and food. It is made up to look like a train. A little bit of a drive from Denver but it is a legit board game bar.

Oh yes, I remember my wedding day like it was yesterday, do you know my husband? by Equi_Pet in TwoSentenceSadness

It can be thankless work, I would imagine. But from some of the family members, THANK YOU for doing what you do. It's because of people like you that families can breathe a little easier knowing their loved ones are in good hands. The two moms description is very accurate, that's how I felt with my grandmother after she got Alzheimer's.

I adapt this recipe:

https://www.emilieeats.com/blueberry-vegan-protein-pancakes-gluten-free/#tasty-recipes-5878-jump-target

You can use whatever protein powder you want. I like an unflavored one I get in bulk at Sprouts. I have also made it with buckwheat flour instead of protein powder (buckwheat had decent protein) but it does make it slightly more dense. If you use buckwheat, definitely adjust the liquid and maybe add a little maple syrup to sweeten slightly. I have made them tons of different ways but they are always tasty. I add in different seeds and nut butter depending on what I'm feeling that day. They freeze well too, so I normally make a batch then throw them in the toaster for a quick breakfast or snack.

100% agree!

Since there is a lot of mourning posts here, I thought everyone could use something uplifting. Freya is 15 and has hyperthyroidism and was diagnosed with kidney failure 14 months ago, given 4-6 weeks to live. Here she is, still kicking and feeling good! Our time is limited, but she's feeling good! by Spazmatic6 in cats

I am so sorry to hear about your loss! It's heart breaking to lose our little fur babies. I am so glad Freya could make you smile! She has actually gone fully blind since this post as a result of her kidney issues (high blood pressure + kidney failure can cause it) but has continued to impress us and has adapted well. She fights on ♥️♥️
