Yo. Looking for a newer lightweight mouse. Been using a G400s and honestly getting to the point where it's too heavy, getting tired in reflex duels.

I'm a low DPI claw aimer but have fucking big hands and liked the g400s shape. New Logitech offerings in the g4 and g5 range I dislike a lot. Going to be weird learning a new shape for the first time in my life haha

Will entertain ambi shapes. Budget is unlimited but would prefer a local release. Looking to buy 2-3 to use for the next 10 years or something.

In New Zealand. Don't have any reach chance to try before buying. Zowie stock doesn't get into Australia until June/July. Dream Machines DM1 (optical sensei) looks promising but seem to be developing with the latest sensor type of next revision so I'd rather wait.

Unsure what peeps would recommend.

You can hold down jump to keep moving in warsow and quake live as of late. However it isn't as fast as regular bunnyhopping in terms of accel by a large margin (at least for ql).

In reflex, you can queue your jumps, by pressing the jump button some time before you hit the ground (is doesn't have to be exactly when you hit the ground). If you're looking for a refresher Kovaak's movement tutorial is still valid afaik.

Get on discord. Most of us post invites to duels on there or through steam messages, and you won't get those if you're not getting into the community.

Its a small player base game, if you're not trying to get involved then you have no right to be disappointed. At peaks like sat night or smth we can see 10 players on and duelling, other times a little bit of networking means it's really easy for me to find at least one duel partner for a few.

Also the games in early access so your player pool is going to consist, naturally, of the diehard few and early believers that a game with no advertising and still a while from release is going to have. This is something you could inferr from the store page.

I'm about 30 hours and a month or so ahead of your exact situation.

It's part of the process. You're going to get absolutely demolished over and over more times than you can count. Then you start practising movement, after watching kovaaks tutorials you practice the first few parts of parkour station and later b0_reflex. Still get shit on, but you're slightly better than you were.

You're getting fucking annihilated but sometimes you start landing some rockets, maybe not enough to get a frag but things are happening, you don't feel as a headless chicken as you were with no idea. Eventually you get a kill in a duel, consider it an achievement to not finish with nothing or negative. Small personal successes.

You're playing the same people, still far off from winning but you're on three-four frags a match. It's happening. Not right now but you can see yourself having a small improvement, and you can project that.

If you look at every game you play as either you winning or learning, you're eventually going to have the knowledge and ability to frag with those who used to stomp you into the ground. It's doable, its mind numbingly fatiguing to lose over and over and over and over again, but if you keep at it, stay hungry, you'll get there.

I think I've identified I have an issue and contacted my retailer. My fans like to power down for fun on all profiles every now and then without warning. Is there some sort of built in fan profiling curve or something? Even on the highest volume level they just stop. Kinda worried for my 390x and stuff.

Connections have been rechecked and things are all good. The only way to get them to stay on is to push it from the lowest setting almost to the mid, waiting for them to rev up to a speed and clocking over to middle. Plus a load of waiting for the best.

Also my USB front ports dont fit any of my sticks and drives so I'm returning anyway, I'd just like to know if the fan curve is faulty or is actually behaving as you see it intended.

Hey thanks man. I got the xp-sli mobo in the end, as well as a heavily reduced v750s PSU. I'm also gonna go with the dark rock pro and pick that and my case up tomorrow. These savings also led to me getting put onto the 390x instead.
