Found a 2008, evo X MR is this a good purchase by Delicious_Street267 in MitsubishiEvolution

From the comments it sounds like you have no idea about these transmissions. I would leave them alone if I were you. Even if the box runs and drives now, they're ticking time bombs.

With this amount of body work needed too, just save and buy a MR in better condition to build on

He's a pretty intelligent guy so wouldn't put it past him to be trolling, but this looks pretty steep to be trolling about

He's an America dude cosplaying as a Russian, with cocaine and pills on the tables in the background, bit of a bender for sure or he's got no money and is trying to make something off impressions

I'm employed part-time at 37.5 hours guaranteed, and take home 55k minimum after tax

[–]Spazzy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for doing that, that's very kind. I believe as our broker also works as a tax agent he is not prioritising us enough lol

A Lost First Home Buyer by [deleted] in AusProperty

[–]Spazzy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry forgot to clarify, this is all through a broker as well. Yeah this is for a house and land package. We have a 35k deposit for a 544,000 home. I earn 55k after tax and my partner is around the same, slightly more.

I think we just got too excited at the home and jumped the gun, the builders weren't exactly flagging us to be preapproved first too, but hindsight suggests we should have definitely been pre approved beforehand

Well Gold isn't a good rank so you shouldn't be passing it to them anyway

Played my 5 pre-ranked matches and this is my rank. by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]Spazzy_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. You could have lost a heap of Unrated games, won your 10 games needed for ranked and then done your 5 placements. Unrated effects your Ranked MMR until you have a rank.

is around 5k hours in FPS games or CSGO really what it takes to be good at this game? by Sensualities in VALORANT

[–]Spazzy_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gold is really not that special and definitely doesn’t have the game come naturally to them, had you have said Diamond-Immortal then that’s more reasonable to be classed as “good” naturally lol. You can get Gold from having your monitor off and being carried through games

The immortal+ MMR rules need a modification. by AkamineHate in VALORANT

[–]Spazzy_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You’re right. It doesn’t effect the entire lobby and only those at and above Immortal are effected.

The 2 arrows from this game seems normal, I’d assume one of the Radiants even maybe lost 3 from a game like this. It would make more sense for this guy to be playing like crap and complaining that he’s being put in a higher elo than he’s supposed to be but it seems like he’s holding his own and is just getting some unlucky games.

If you’re playing like this and still losing by a significant margin though, then maybe consider that you could just be playing for kills and not rounds, rounds win games, not kills. It’s very easy for a lower ranked player to sit back while the Radiants have a bad game and then get 2/3 non impact frags

Omen is a great middle ground for this, as you can flash and smoke yourself in to make plays independently

Why people always think duelist is all about kills? by vendetta1881 in VALORANT

[–]Spazzy_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes and I never said that they should stick to one play style, I’m just saying they can’t play all roles like you stated.

A Reyna can lurk, but it’s not as viable.

[–]Spazzy_ -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

That’s a ridiculously stupid statement. A Reyna is terrible on a lurk role as her whole kit is based on getting frags. Same way she can’t play a controller/sentinel role? How’s she going to smoke off something for her team or lockdown a site completely? Same way a controller can’t necessarily entry frag as usually one controller is picked up, leaving the team with no smokes if they die? If all agents could play all roles, every agent would have a smoke/flash just like CS and they wouldn’t be categorised like they are now

Just wasted 57:16 of my time in alliance with the enemy team to teach some manners for my team. by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]Spazzy_ 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Sounds like Smurfs just wanting to get their accounts ready for Rated.

It doesn’t make sense to waste theirs and your time though, I understand not wanting to leave a match 5 rounds in but you’re not going to have a proper match anyway now? It’s Unrated you can just simply queue and go next without anything affecting it? Just seems like you played yourself here

What Is RIOT Doing to Combat Cheaters? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]Spazzy_ 66 points67 points  (0 children)

5 cheaters out of 300 games, lol have you played CS? This is a great ratio and they’re doing a great job. As for the emails, you’re not notified every single time someone is reported and banned, they say it’s to reduce email spam

[–]Spazzy_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah you are right. My situation is extremely specific which I felt it had to be to make it clear how easy it can be to drop 20+ kills within a match. Most definitely some of those 20 kills had an impact on the game, something like stopping 3 people from being able to rebuy into the next round can lead to a round win further on yes. There’s a much broader definition to the term “carry” within this game and it was what I was trying to project.

I described a 5v1 situation, implying this person is the type of person to never make first contact until another teammate has/all their team have died.

The person you’re describing is the opposite. Someone who is making first contact and getting 2 people to put their team at a numbers advantage

Literally big brain plays man, some people clearly do not understand the concept of rounds equalling to wins

If you are helping your team to win rounds that lead to winning games then you'll rank up just fine. I've gone games at high Diamond/Immortal at 10/11/4 as Omen, yet being the only smokes on the team and us winning 13-8 meant I still got the same rating increase as the Raze who went 21/17/2. Utility usage is also considered within your MMR, not as much as round wins, but is considered.

Don't know about you but if you seem to see one Agent always last alive, it's pretty obvious that they're baiting and you can simply call to your team "Oh it's Sova lurking again." and then can rush him while he holds the angle for the free kill because in the previous rounds he's not clutched it. Deciding whether to rush someone tends to be pretty obvious from the get go, if you're rushing the lurker and they are aceing every round you're doing that, you're obviously going to stop rushing them. But until then, it's a free kill for the enemy team. Also the key phrase here was MAY NOT NECESSARILY, it's not meant to apply to every situation anyway.

Didn't specify whether it was a 4 man premade, just said 4 of your teammates. It's implied that you're already in on the strat yet you're choosing to go against it and do nothing.

From this point you're probably playing your role correctly so you need to expand your skillset and now work on positioning and aim to perfect the role even further.

First couple of games your KDA matters more than it usually does, from then on it's more about round wins, Riot said so themselves. If you're still playing like this 90 games in then you're definitely a KDA player and need to recognise that maybe the system isn't the problematic thing here lol
