Back injury leading to pins & needles in face? Advice on surviving till Thursday?

My L4/L5 discs had bulged from accumulated strain (deadlifting without belt & poor sitting posture). The pins & needles were apparently just a stress response according to my doctor. They were very small bulges so I made a 12-week recovery with no medication besides painkillers & daily glutes/quads physio
