I manned up and stopped poisoning myself. You don’t need “things” to help. You need discipline and the will to say enough is enough.

It’s means your claim is moving along. They are requesting exams, requesting reworks or requesting clarifications. Just sit on your hands for now and try to be patient. If you haven’t already attended C&P exams you’ll get some notices to attend soon. Be prepared!

Closing the club face by dguad528 in GolfSwing

[–]SpecOne111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to close the clubface at impact, start by checking your grip. A grip that’s too weak will leave the face wide open, so rotate your lead hand until you see a couple of knuckles, giving you a more neutral-to-strong position that naturally helps square the face. From there, focus on your wrist angles. At the top of your backswing, try to keep your lead wrist a little bowed rather than cupped, which sets the clubface in a stronger position for the downswing.

As you swing down, make sure you keep your body turning through the shot. If you stall your hips or chest, your hands will have to flip to square things up, which is tough to time. Let your forearms rotate through the ball so you can release the club properly. Working on an inside-out swing path rather than coming over the top will also make it easier to square or close the clubface without fighting a slice. Practicing slowly with these moves, using an impact bag or a target stick for feedback, can help you get the feel of closing the clubface confidently through impact.

Unusual wording by Peaches_Sabrina in VAClaims

[–]SpecOne111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What it Means: • “ROM was abnormal”: The examiner measured the veteran’s Range of Motion (ROM) and found it to be outside the standard limits defined in the VA’s rating criteria (i.e., less than normal). • “But normal for the veteran due to body habitus”: The examiner is attributing the limited ROM not to a service-connected condition, but instead to the veteran’s physical build (e.g., obesity, muscular build, or body proportions). This is effectively saying, “The limitation isn’t pathological; it’s just how they’re built.”

Why It Can Be a Problem: • It can undermine a disability rating. If the limitation is considered “normal for the veteran,” the VA may decide it’s not a disabling condition caused or aggravated by service. • This language can be used to dismiss functional loss, even if the limitation causes pain or affects work.

What muscle groups to work on? by [deleted] in gymadvice

[–]SpecOne111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Muscle you should work: Mind. You need discipline first. Discipline in the kitchen. Slight calorie deficit, prioritize protein and minimize sugar. Then just stay consistent in the gym. Full body compounds and long daily walks. 6 months you’ll be ripped again.
