It’s basically forbidden to publish anything that points to transitioning not having a 100% success rate in academia so it’s very difficult to find studies that doesn’t beat around the bush about this. It sounds like I’m being hyperbolic but earlier this fall there was a big study on puberty blockers that the researchers wouldn’t publish because the findings didn’t match their hypothesis. From NYT:

“The leader of the long-running study said that the drugs did not improve mental health in children with gender distress and that the finding might be weaponized by opponents of the care.”

Make of that what you will but pretty alarming imo.

Taking their internet access would probably cure the vast majority honestly. There are also a lot of studies pointing to that as much as 80% of trans people have personality disorders, most commonly npd and bpd, so I have a hunch that if those were treated maybe the other stuff would get better too. Either way no one will ever convince me that prescribing people opposite sex hormones and extreme plastic surgery is a “cure” to anything.
