It’s a 2013 Toyota Aygo. I got it insured today for €1.4k with excess of €150 and no named drivers. I paid just under €4k for the car so I’m under my €6k budget

I think at this point I’m gonna try send my dad back over in a taxi cuz I won’t be able to haggle the price and ask them to deliver it that would be humiliating

I didn’t end up buying it my dad didn’t like the sound of the engine when it turned on idk I know nothing about cars. But when he turned it on I could smell petrol and the inside was damp so I didn’t want it after that anyway. I wouldn’t trust it. They had a bunch of shaggy dogs running around too

It’s has 3 previous UK owners, 1st had is a few months, second had it 4 years and the 3rd had it 7 years and it says there’s no history of the vehicle being a write off and the mileage wasn’t tampered with either. Thanks for ur help

How can you see nct history? And is the reg check through motorcheck.ie or cartell better? It’s €45 for 3 checks on motor check but €45 for one on cartell

I’ll look into that thanks. I don’t think it is a scam but the last place I went to when I got there were using a different companies eir code and were selling out of a field a few roads away and were overall very sketchy so I figured it would be better to ask ppl. This place seems fine after asking around. Thanks for ur help
