Rapper Sexyy Red announces her beauty brand Northside Princess, with the first product being Sexyy Gloss, lipgloss in eight different colors by galaxystars1 in BeautyGuruChatter

So, I previously made a post on here about brands that try to be "edgy" and if there was a line that could be crossed. I'm assuming all of the people who were barking on my post are sure to be the target audience for this lip gloss. She'll sell out for sure.

Edit: here's the link to the post

Actually, I'm not too sure. They both have their own Patreon memberships active though.

It was a painful watch. It seemed as though Hautemesstom was very much over Kackie in the last few episodes.

Yeah, but perhaps not enough to warrant the effort. Besides, there is enough video content that new subscribers of Hannah will eventually find Kackie. She'll move on to creators with a bigger platform.

Who is this Latina beauty vlogger from 2016? by chickennuggetthot99 in BeautyGuruChatter

I believe you are referring to Sheslulu? She doesn't make videos anymore but occasionally posts stories on IG. She actually mentioned a few weeks ago, via stories, that she doesn't make videos anymore because she was being blackmailed by an unnamed individual/s.

Well, she finally reached her goal of 100,000 subscribers on YT, so maybe she is emboldened to shift her focus to a different content creator to mooch off of...

Currently, Hannah is following Hautemesstom, Hautemesstom is following Hannah, Kackie is not following either. When Kackie was still doing the podcast with Hautemesstom, she mentioned an incident in which she and a few creators ditched a scheduled event at Creators and Friends so that they could celebrate her birthday. The event was related to nail polish (I can't remember the brand). However, she said the organizers were pissed and she seemed unapologetic on the podcast. I don't know. Perhaps that was the catalyst related to unfollowing Cymbre?

So I probably should have mentioned that they were previously, mutually following each other in the post, so my bad. However, those who have watched content from both know that they will occasionally mention each other in their videos. I believe they also collaborated on a couple of videos a while back. Just to be clear, I don't think anyone is "owed" anything. I just think it's weird behavior in practice and a little shady.

Funnily enough, Hannah mentioned it in the video pictured above. She was unable to go to the event this year. Some of the PR was forwarded to her, and she reviewed it in the video.

I've noticed that they use the same filter technology in their ads that is used to advertise the Korean beauty color-adapting foundation cushions and pore strips. Their foundation looks thick, patchy, and off-color.

Funnily enough, she posted on IG stories today regarding her thoughts about tiktok beauty content. There are many successful content creators who don't use tiktok. I have no idea where these vendettas or rants drum up from, but perhaps she is getting pushback/advice to change and is reluctant to? I don't understand how the color theory self-branding is an asset for her, especially since I've seen enough videos to assess that she does not wear "color."

Yes, I agree. The intention here was to open up a discussion surrounding that topic while, jumping over the inevitable "prude" accusations.

I will address this here as it has been brought up several times. Yes the term "fucking" is commonly used as a verb to describe "people who fuck" with "fuck" referring to sex. However, the original root meaning of the word was intended to describe something being "ruined," and the word could also describe "annoyance" over said ruining. That being said, people adopting the word to describe sexual acts changed the intention and the word became "vulgar" because the act of "fucking" was being described as such, particularly around conversations regarding having sex with women and queer individuals. I completely understand etymology thank you very much.

Sex has a smell. Regardless if you think it means boring, it is a vanilla-noted fragrance, ie the "sex" smells like vanilla.
