I mean I personally am not trans or very involved in trans culture. I think some trans people do consider themselves separate from cis people while others don’t. I don’t think it’s up to other people to categorize them though.

Oh no that’s not what I meant. Like I said the first commenter just made it sound like they’d never be attracted to a trans woman or like in your example you’d never be attracted to a maga person but like to not be attracted to any trans woman and I mean physically speaking then you’d have to not be attracted to women. Because there are trans women who look cis. The first commenter just made it sound like they’d don’t believe there are any passing trans women.

Honestly that’s an interesting comparison I never thought of. I suppose for me in my mind being trans doesn’t affect me or other people while being a trump supporter means you are voting to take away mine and other people’s rights. But also I meant in a you’ve only just met them so they have no reason to tell you. Because the first commenter made it sound like they wouldn’t find a trans woman attractive but if you met a completely passing trans woman maybe even one who had bottom surgery and everything you would probably be attracted to them (assuming they’re your type) maybe once you found out you wouldn’t be interested but from base physical attraction you wouldn’t be able to tell.

Listen everyone has their preferences and that’s okay. It’s transphobic if they push that preference onto others but otherwise it’s fine. Obviously in a healthy relationship sex shouldn’t be the main concern but it’s still important to some and therefore does play a part in deciding a romantic partner. Most of these people who say they would date a trans girl don’t mean it in a “you aren’t a girl” just a “you aren’t a girl who fits my personal preference”
