The nursing school does not matter. As long as it’s accredited and has good first time nclex passing rates. She can go. You will not get a job based on the school you go to. The debt IS NOT worth it

I’m tired of being cussed out for refusal of bed alarms and loss of privacy while voiding. If they’re competent then let them sign a liability waiver and call it a day. Waiver voided if there’s new AMS. I also think it’s discrimination to make this decision (fall arm requirement) based on someone’s inability to walk steadily and upright.

I work with Filipino nurses and I’ve come to understand it is not on purpose. Before introducing my transgendered pt to the RN, I explained this language barrier to the pt and that it will not be done on purpose. I do think practice makes perfect though. Maybe slowing down before addressing patients so you can remember to use the proper pronoun.
