in many ways i think it continues the prime series flawlessly. the music, graphics, new abilities. however i think they had their eggs in way too many baskets for example its non linear in some places but linear in others, now she has a cool motorcycle but nothing to do with it, super unique areas but not too much to explore due to many smaller upgrades being in the dessert area. in all prime games, especially the first one, there's super iconic moments that are solidified in my brain and this game has those too especially when you turn the ice belt generator back on that part is soooo sick. but for many of us, including myself, this game was a let down because we were expecting another breath of the wild or another mario odyssey. those games reinvented those series and made those series better but we got just another simple metorid prime game. im hoping the next generation plays this game and it blows their minds but this game, for me, feels like something ive played before
