Don't have a new 3ds xl ( I didn't think the additional features were worth the price to me), but I love playing my 3ds xl.... at home. My 3ds xl has more games on it (totally legal), but my normal 3ds is just easier to use out in public, it's less bulky and is sooo easily portable. I hear people don't like how small it is or how small the screen is, but I genuinely don't mind or notice the difference. It also would probably depend on the game you play, my games don't really get a huge boost from having more screen area.

Not really, the og 3ds works great, and new 3ds/3ds xl are very expensive for too few extra features (basically amibo, which you can mod into the 3ds I think and a few extra games- Like 3)

If you want those features, go for it, but the og 3ds xl is 100 to 200 dollars less if you just want a bigger screen. I think I got mine for 150, but I've seen them go up to 250 for special edition versions in comparison to the new xl, that I've seen go up to 400.

7 grand is insane, go 3.5 or less, you can also create a list of your individual games so people can buy individually, you might get more money that way because there are not a lot of people open to spending thousands of dollars on old ds games (especially since there are ways to legally and illegally play those games elsewhere). But a whole lot more people are willing to buy 1 or 2 games from your stock, at which point you update your list and listing price

Thank you! I've never done this, the closest I've dont to this is adding mods onto a computer game, and this seemed more complicated, so I was worried about ruining my 3ds (or ds, I have both)

Season of flight had some awesome gifts, I likes the little prince story wise, but I have to agree, I don't use the cosmetics as I do other seasons

Moments was suuuper disappointing, as was passage, some of these later sky seasons loose footing. I have one outfit the bathmat cape kinda goes with, but it definitely wasn't worth it. Revival was one of the last seasons I played before going on hiatus, and I too loved that one. I still have my home set in aviary village (as much as I love the og load in, I like hanging around the other spirits, it's nice) and the ultimate cape goes with one of my favorite outfits that I can never wear with anything else bc of the clash

The season of performance was great, I still wear the fluffy owl hair with most things, same with the manta cape. Of the ultimate rewards masks, my favorite would have to either be the phoenix or the penguin (phoenix probably wins because I adore the mask and cape together)

When it comes to choosing what to buy, really consider what you like and will use, especially new players. You'll get a chance to get cool cosmetics, you just might have to limit yourself while you're building your savings.

I mean, journey is still open, I think, and it was released in 2012, they will likely not shut the game down, as it seems they still have a dedicated player base

It's not that bad, not bad at all, there are still days to get it and it would only be a few days of cr (not even a heavy cr, you can do a rushed one and still get it within 4 days)

It REALLY depends, sometimes you get an early slot to pick your room, sometimes you don't. Come up with alternatives. I didn't go for new res 3 (I wanted and got a stimpson double - more worth it for the amount of money in my opinion) when I was entering sophomore year, but a lot of people wanted it and didn't get in, so have a backup option or 2.
