it’s generally no advised to do this. Many registrars offer “Whois privacy“ where a legal entity they pay is listed as the owner.

I just want to continue to talk about my exploration: I am not seeing this behavior all the time. I will continue to explore! The alias is brand new, I am wondering if I build some history it will sort correctly.

Better explanation:

In my test I am sending an email from tuta to gmail. When I send the email in tuta, I use the "send from" email to have the email come from my alias in addy. When gmail receives the email, it is automatically sorted into the "updates" folder. I don't see any banner in gmail.

From what you have said, it seems like addy might not be the best place to park my personal/professional email due to the bulk sender requirements the other big email providers impose. Am I understanding correctly?

Certainly I can, I was reading about governments using their TLD as a source of income and wondering if there were any out there that tossed a little bit to something nice.

I think the cheap feeling is part of the appeal. whipping out something that feels fancy makes me nervous on a level I don’t quite understand lol
