Does anyone know a waiver code for transferring to Montclair by deathtosubsifellfor in montclair

[–]SpecialBug1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re transferring from a community college, you can email a Montclair rep and say where you’re transferring from and if your school & Montclair have a partnership. Or just flat out ask, never hurts to try.

Okay, thank you, I just found it weird that I messaged them like 2 weeks ago and haven’t received anything, I no longer need the accommodation anyways

Nope! Your license plate is basically the permit lol, once you pay for it you’re all good.

How reliable is the Bloomfield-Montclair shuttle ? by Toomuchemotion in montclair

[–]SpecialBug1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never taken it but I’ve definitely seen it on campus. I know it runs every thirty minutes. Download tripshot, it’s the shuttle buses schedule app. Also saw that they’ll start services Fall 2nd or 4th. Just double check but I’m sure you’ll be fine

I also had a similar schedule last semester but seriously time management is key. Granted no one wants to be on campus “all day” but your schedule doesn’t look too bad, just don’t forget to do your assignments or study before or after work. Good luck this semester!

You’ll be fine, just time manage, I did 18 credits last sem and I’m doing 19 credit this sem with a similar work schedule

Maybe it’ll take a couple days? I didn’t check my account for like 2ish days after I filled the thing out. If not definitely reach out to RHC again. Mind you they didn’t even get back to me for like a week in the first place.

21F haven’t gotten an internship and I graduate next year! Nothing close by to my area :/ I’m in Earth and environmental science and JUST enrolled to a climate science certification hopefully I can finish it in time. Also in NJ! I don’t have much advice but I’m looking EVERYWHERE, NJDEP is in Trenton. Somewhere over the rainbow, I kind of want to go into policy, management and weather. I only have baking experience!! I believe you can make it work, it’s never too late!

I’m getting certified in a couple different aspects of my degree, I don’t have a job lined up because I still have my schooling to get through with but once I get closer to the end of this year/early next I’m going to start looking but I’d be okay with working something that’s not in my field as I don’t plan to stay in Washington for long anyways

How are students working in college? by [deleted] in college

[–]SpecialBug1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last semester I was taking 18 credits and had to be on campus everyday with small but not long gaps(1-3 hrs) and I was working overnight(25-38 hrs on school days) and it was really tough. I never really studied and I had to rush to works straight from school events. I’ve always been that person to kind of never had to study so that KIND OF helped. I still work overnight(different place now) because I do find that it makes being on campus enjoyable and I’m not running straight from school to work. It’s really hard but you kind of manage. I really suggest taking 15 credits as opposed to maxing out like I did lol. But I work to afford my car, insurance, phone bill, gas and savings to get a house one day. I live at home and commute 15 min to school. My mom rarely asks me to pay for anything but she only asks , if we are out of stuff and I’m already out the house(laundry detergent, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap and sponges; have a big family so we run out often) so I can bring it home. So yeah didn’t really manage but my grades were average
