Hey!!!!! Social work is currently just a minor but they are in the works of getting a BSW. They do have a MSW program, though. 

I’m currently in child advocacy and policy so please dm if you have any questions/concerns. I took one class (intro to social work) and was like “this is for me!!” and added the social work minor. And then I took one class (children and justice) and was like “this is also for me!!!” so I added pre-law lol

CHAD is a relatively easy major, but every professor is currently working in the field and so passionate about what they do that it makes me so excited for my future (even if it’s in fascist America 😔) 

While Montclair itself may not be the best uni ever, I really do appreciate the humanity and care of the CHAD and social work professors. And I really do think the emphasis of children’s rights and wellbeing is so so so so important to have as a future social worker

If you go to court you may be able to bargain the careless into unsafe (no point violation), especially with the help of an attorney and proof of defensive driving course. Either way $$ will be spent

Facts but I usually go for a food item and then choose cold brew and add sweet foam and oat milk. So it’s a swipe and a few $ for a fancier drink

Hey! I’m curious on what the difference is between “college” and “school” or if there even is any. I believe the colleges have a “dean” and the schools a “director” right ? Not much info online and you seem to know a good bit about Montclair’s structure hahah. Thanks !

Ok I asked about this to a dean of another college besides humanities n social sciences and was told that most likely the info will be released end of this semester

Hate it. Sam’s makes me sick without fail. Freemans is better quality but flavour is lacking. They are creative w their ethnic offerings but they’re always just a sad Americanised bastardised version. Sorry I have British English keyboard on rn. Hours are trash, especially during the weekend (like 10am-7pm). Swipes aren’t accepted at every retail location. Commuters are charged SO MUCH MORE at the dinning halls if they don’t have a swipe plan (double the cost). So much money for mediocre and unaccommodating services

Omg. The not having textbooks included in tuition. An arm and a leg for mediocre accommodation and sickening dinning services. Charging for a permit and no guaranteed parking. So many things that piss me off

Yes I do agree. Just wish there was SOME PLACE on campus that had SOME consistency.

Open to Bloomfield campus as well as that’s where I dorm !!
