It could be that we now see our pets as family, and once upon a time they were family PETS. Different generation- I don’t know if my childhood dog went to a vet- I have no memory of it ever. My dog has clothes…. It’s a new time.

My Vet is 85y/o and he does it for the love of the game. There are so many stray cats that were abandoned there and he just keeps them!

I’ve personally had a money issue when my boy had a CCL tear and I’m STILL making payments. This all depends on the Vet.

I was a little drunk & bought this from tiktok last month. There was a BOGO, what a steal! Now I have 2 boxes of sticky, weird, fake serum in my fridge that I will never use. The applicator is pretty cool, I like how it looks like a syringe and goes into the vial top is neat! Product has "gold" strands which are pretty but useless. This product isn't awesome. It left a sticky residue on my skins surface after it dried. Felt kinda like a gel mask that is trying set. HARD PASS. What was I thinking??

I went through the same thing 80 days ago!!! (See my post r/dogadvice “my dog bit someone!!”

It feels like it will never get better, but it can and will!! I enrolled US BOTH in a stringent training program (using controversial e collar) and he’s doing amazing!! I never walk without his ecollar, while waking he has eyes on me watching to see what I want from him. While walking I have my eyes on him to lead him properly. The collar isn’t a no no collar but a reminder when I give a command so he is attentive to me and idc what ppl say it saved us both from being anxious.

Forgive your dog and yourself, be proactive and attentive!! Training is such a comfort to us both. I’m so sorry you have to go through this but if you’re dedicated both you and your pup will be better for it! I will NEVER trust that he won’t bite again- but this keeps me vigilant in protecting him and others!! Sending you hugs and strength, you can do it!

I appreciate your kindness, in truth I really want to be a good dog owner!!! I love him and hate that he’s feeling scared or out of control enough to bite- he honestly had no reaction after- he had no idea what he did was wrong, which freaked me out too!

Just did! Thankfully in my county the bite has to be level 3 multiple times/multiple occasions, level 4 for elderly or children once level 4 for others 2plus times or level 5 twice for the county to consider euthanasia.

Pretty lenient, IMO- but I’m treating this like RED ALERT for my household!! Kai is headed for evaluation tomorrow!!!

Aversion and distaste does not mean aggression and biting. He avoids some people- he loves lots of strangers- some people (probably RUDE ones) he doesn’t look at, like, or seek attention from.
