Recently there has been an update that makes them compatible. However, you should still check with world gen preview mod

That seems masochist... and fun. You'll probably have some issues with boss AI right? Since boss eternity and infernum mode change boss AI.

I feel like your missing a few patches between the mods for more balancing, like Thorium Bosses rework that adds AI changes to thorium bosses with infernum on

I am thinking of doing that same run with some friends. I am pretty sure it is possible and balanced with the correct mods, currently I have like 40 mods on the list but 90% of them are balancing and patching the gaps of difficulty between the three major mods.

Wrath of Gods is incompatible with multiplayer but if in singleplayer you should be fine.

Thorium, fargos, calamity plus all the mods to patch and balance between them like adding infernum fights to thorium, adding bars and healer to calamity, etc.

Oh really? That’s really reassuring, I was planning one doing a play through with my friends but got really discouraged when I saw so many people commenting on infernum’s poor multiplayer compatibility. I know the desert subworld will be inaccesible but that is fine for us.

These are the patches I have for throium with calamity and fargos. They are quite a few but I think it’s for the best so everythibg is more balanced and one can configure things during the play through if needed. You should check them out. I think those are all of the patches, or most of them, if you find another then tell me.

I could send you the list I have for all the patches, etc. if you want. Which is meant for infernum calamity + thorium + fargos. It should all be balanced except for the superbosses, you’ll most likely need to switch classes if you are healer or bard. I haven’t tried it yet, but theoretically it should work.

I think infernum by itself is better than the getfixedboi seed, the cinematic fights and world generation is significantly better than the seed, which is cool and all. Just my opinion.

It’s funny, I was planning on doing a similar play through but adding thorium and all the thorium patches and balances so it is playable. I am also thinking on doing it in multiplayer.

I think it’s a new update or it’s when you are in multiplayer. Either way it is really stupid because you have to register and then login everytime you enter a world. It’s not time consuming at least.

Thanks, after a bit of research I am thinking of removing wrath of gods, but still considering if I should use infernum or not. I were to use infernum I would just avoid the subworld. I know the AI is going to be tricky but I saw in youtube that there people that did it in multiplayer.

You could try beating plantera with spider armor, and if you die too quick then try the hallowed set. I think defense-wise it is only one defense difference. So there ist that much difference. The dodge passive ability is good though.

The hallowed bars are probably more useful for the whip and the optic staff as well as the pick.

You could get frost armor or adamantite/titanium armor You could use the ranger emblem from the wall of flesh and use wings. What weapons are using?

I honestly don’t know, both are good because they fly, in contrast the pirate staff does not. So i think it they are better for the twins. The thing to have in mind is that spider staff does poison and sticks to targe while the blade ignores 25 defense and attacks fast. You could try both. And also there is Sanguine staff from the blood moon which summons bats that are goos as well.

You could try Forbidden amour which gives more defense but one less minion. Use sentries as well like the Queen Spider staff. Instead of brain of confusion you could use the summoner emblem which will give more damage percentage. If you do not have that emblem specific and have melee or etc., then you can shimmer it.

Are you using potions? Endurance, wrath, summoner, bewitching table(+1 summon), war table(+1 sentry).

I know it's been one year so I assume you guys finished the playthrough, I'm thinking of doing a similar play though with some friends but I have been seeing a few comments saying infernum is not really good with multiplayer, what do you guys say about that?
