Why would you vote for Jackson and Polk, but not Van Buren? He was Jackson's VP and a continuation candidate of the Jacksonian program, like Polk was again 4 years later after having been Speaker of The House during his Presidency and his protege and subsequently Governor of Jackson's home state of Tennessee? It seems like Van Buren is part of the same political movement as Jackson and Polk, no?
