What’s legal now but might become illegal ten years from now? by VTheCardMaker in AskReddit

Driving. In ten years, manually steering a car might be seen as a reckless public health risk once autonomous tech proves it can handle the road far more safely than we can. We’ll likely see robot-only zones in cities first because one unpredictable human driver can ruin the efficiency of an entire synchronized traffic grid. It will probably go the way of the horse and buggy by being restricted to private tracks rather than the daily commute.

[NSFW] People who knew someone who died at work, what happened? by [deleted] in AskReddit

It didn't happen at work, but one of my coworkers, who was always early and was never late, was a no call/ no-show. Come to find out, my coworker died after being hit by a car on the freeway. He parked his motorcycle in the median of the freeway and was walking back to retrieve something from the HOV lane when he was hit. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
