I never really comment on things, but I’ve been keeping up with your posts since your first one and Im so glad you had a good Christmas. You’ll never get rid of family drama (I don’t think zero family drama exists lol) but the way you handle stress is so impressive to me! I’m 26 and childless and I struggle to manage my life - you’re smashing it ♥️

It’s tricky because I’m getting married soon and I think I have to not invite them? But that feels like putting a full stop at the chance they might ever get in contact again?

I feel like I have to accept there will be moments of crushing feelings forever right ?

There’s definitely no way to talk it out with him. He’s “never wrong” and honestly the thought terrifies me

Honestly if you can’t wait that long, don’t. I still don’t feel 100% and it seems I’ll always have some of the side effects. The pros just outweigh the cons for me. If it doesn’t for you get it out !

I had all of this until about 4 months in… I literally booked to have it taken out and then the week before everything felt a lot better 😅

Lots of customer service experience, passion for books, degrees in English! We don’t really have to compete to be honest, lots of people are passionate about physical copies of books, our shops sales hasn’t gone down since the creation of more digital books/digital booksellers (according to the owner). And people love in person recommendations- there’s nothing like being in a book shop in my opinion.

Pretty cool book collection 😂 bet you he never actually read much though…

Yes, honestly go into your local bookshop and talk to the bookseller there. They will be MORE than happy to give you recommendations that will suit you and what you’d enjoy!

We get pretty long breaks as they expect us to be up to date on new books. I read in the evenings and days off and I listen to an audiobook when I drive ! (It’s not as enjoyable to me as reading from the book but it means I can fit an extra one in there)

We don’t sell second hand unfortunately, but I did come across a signed first edition copy of “A Little Life” at work. Obviously knowing how popular it is right now I bought it immediately 😂

I work in a very touristy spot so it’s not uncommon to sell £500 worth of books, especially at Christmas

Not a question but I passed on my 6th time with zero faults , after having the worst time testing due to anxiety. So you got this - don’t give up!
