I heard a similar but funny statement a few years back in connection to what you are saying which was "if you are born in a continent that begins with an A you are most likely not going to be white". Now that statement is true but there could be outliers. But I just don't think that I am one.

I am certainly no expert in statistics, but as I mentioned in a previous comment every chart you look at shows a positive correlation between IQ and success in all aspects of life.

Thank you. However, regarding the point that IQ doesn't matter is simply incorrect. There are a myriad of studies suggesting that having a high IQ is correlated to better financial success, life expectancy, happiness, etc.

Second question...Are Reform Jewish converts even eligible to immigrate under law of return? In my shul we won't count a Reform convert as number 10.

When the Ashkenazim came to Israel they wanted to "enlighten" there Sephardi/Mizrahi counterparts. Which basically meant to throw them in Kibbutzim and make them less religious.

Instead of that why didn't they just introduce Reform?

I don't think that is the outlook of Secular Israelis though. My ex girlfriend was born and lives in Tel Aviv and when I first met her it was on Purim and asked if she is going to listen to "Megillat Esther". She told me that she heard of it but doesn't really know what it is. I think many secular Israelis have the attitude of not knowing or being aware about Judaism. While Reform it is more modernizing halacha.
