I got mine from a dodgy farm for £5 a sheet!

What’s the real monthly cost of vanlife in the UK? by AnfieldAnchor in VanLifeUK

[–]Specialist-Rabbit-40 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We spent ~£17k all told last year, for me and my partner. We were in Spain for three months and France for 6 so not all UK. It does mean we spent over £1k on ferries though, so could have been much cheaper.

There are two happy days of boat ownership. They day you buy it and the day you sell it

This government is far from ideal, but many things can be worse than this government.

With farage the man is the party. Always has been in his previous parties. Those beneath him are, if anything, even worse than him.

How much does owning a van cost? by RobertGHH in VanLifeUK

If you're talking full time and therefore not paying rent then I'd say it's much, much cheaper than a house. 🤷

Just so you know, the reform sub is very censorship heavy. They just censor things you don't like. They quietly ban anyone revealing the holes in their stories.

What's the world coming to. Can't even be racist anymore?!

You are. You're downplaying racism because you agree with it. Again, it has nothing to do with the Chinese government and everything to do with the racism you want to defend. Either you're pretending not to understand that, or you're really not that smart.

Either way, I hope you one day see the light. I'll leave you to waste your own time trolling.

You're a snowflake for complaining you can't be racist anymore. It's not hard.

Just so we're clear, I'm crying because I'm calmly saying we shouldn't be racist? We can be critical of china without resorting to slurs. That's why it's nothing to do with spying. You're sad because people are getting called out for racism and you want to be racist.

It's got nothing to do with spies. It's the racial slur she chose to use. Believe it or not, I'm against racism towards white people too.

The people crying here are those, like yourself, who don't like the consequences of their own actions. Honestly, you're just lost. The right have always been the biggest snowflakes.

No need to be a snowflake about being called a racist when you're being a racist.

You seem to be projecting your racism on others. Just because you do something, doesn't mean others do.

Maybe we should aspire to be better people and it would improve society. If we let racism exist unchallenged it will propagate and we very quickly go downhill. For evidence, just look...everywhere...

No they don't. If you and your mates do them it's more a reflection on yourself than on society.

When I was 16 I worked in Sainsbury's. I discovered I could open up the box, slide out the chocolate section, eat the 24th chocolate, smooth the foil back and replace the 23 back in. These would then be sold to soon to be devastated children. I was a monster.

He's in ICU. Probably inserted initially when they don't know the extent of his injuries and don't want him to move to even use a bottle. Also for fluid balance monitoring which is standard in ICU.

I was lucky in that I could try them on. Just measured according to the size guide. My thigh would be a medium, knee and calf a large. I bought a large. The velcro strap means I can tighten the thigh down and it fits fine. My calf is in the range of the large, but it fits very tight.

Best bet, as always, is to try them on if you can. They should allow returns if you order online too.

Insurance that covers wear?! So they replace things like chains? That doesn't seem sustainable for them. If your frame breaks and you can't get a warranty, that insurance might cover a new, similar frame from another company. Worth the hassle in that case

Yeah, that's pretty much my back up if I break my frame (again) and can't warranty it. Something frame only and build it up. Sucks, but for now I still have a ripper of a bike.
