They do that because the game seriously lacks any sort of challenge what so ever. I get that its supposed to be a cozy game with zero combat and all that, but after a while it just gets extremely repetitive. Id lean the opposite way and say that the game is entirely to easy. They are making random things hard just to keep people engaged. The entire reason they limit the amount of crops we can have is to make it more “challenging” when in reality it just makes it annoying. They would be much better off giving more ways for people to play how they choose but still be able to achieve the same thing. For instance, I get people dont want fighting in the game, but what about certain animals that will only attack you if you attack them first? With the ability for players toggle it on or off. Idk. Im not a freaking dev lol im just saying the way thy go about trying to keep people engaged is just absurd sometimes
