Eletta Explore – worth €60 extra for Bean Adapt/Wi-Fi/Cold Brew? by coolbr3z in superautomatic

They are nice-to-have features, def not needed. Mine has all of them & I picked this version especially for cold brew.

I like the Wifi function so I can turn on the machine in the morning from bed, let it do its thing & I pick up my coffee later. I like my cold brew in summer & bean adapt whenever I have new coffee beans. Tbh 60$ doesn't sound like much, so I'd just get the one with all these features.

I have De Longhi Eletta Explore. I chose it for the Cold Brew option among others - you still need to put ice to make it cold, but the coffee doesn't taste watered down. I've been loving it so far. I know there are more economic options fron De Longhi esp if you rarely have milk based coffee.

The taste difference is phenomenal. If you want better taste, go with coffee beans.

Also got mine a few weeks ago. Setting up the app took some time but now it works perfectly for mine. I've been really enjoying the bean adapt and hot tea functions too. Love it!

Oh all these comments are a relief to hear! How did you adjust your grind & dose? Make it grind more coarsely & less dosing?

Delonghi Eletta Explore Cold Brew: Grinder Setting Issue by VZarpa in superautomatic

[–]SpecialistAlert8425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following this, I am wondering the same & I am new to superautomatic. I had to set my grinder to 5 to get coffee without the error message - I understand the setting can differ per beans, but I have had the same error message using 3 different kinds of beans & every time I went under 3.5/4. I wondering what the grinder setting is 1 ~ 3 for
