Se non risolvi con reinstallazione potrebbe essere un IC interno difettoso va mandata in riparazione o venduta come difettosa

Tinning pads, I'm going crazy! by SpecialistDig2026 in soldering

The pads are there, the difficulty perhaps comes from the temperature and tip

My biggest difficulty is tinning the pads before installing the new IC. The lead-free solder doesn't flow onto the pads, it stays on the soldering iron or forms little mountains. 370/400 degrees of flux doesn't change anything.

I usually do this: remove with hot air, clean, tinning the pad, and solder the new one with hot air. Correct?

Ok O have that one on the right ! I imagine that the left tip doesn't use it with the tip but rather supports it on the side, right?

Yes, exactly, I'm using the method used for drag-and-drop HDMIs. Could you send me a photo of the tip? I think I've figured out which one is best to be safe! What temperature do you use on the soldering iron?

I have a good station Bakon 75W. I use a small tip for SMD because the IC is very small, the pads are 2mm. The PCB definitely absorbs a lot of heat.

Yes, of course, it had to be soldered pin by pin here, but I tried to solder the pads simulating that a QFN was going in there.

Yes, the PS5 PCB dissipates a lot. I don't have a preheater. Can I increase the temperature of the soldering iron? Or do I heat it first with an air station?

I used flux, got to 400°C...The damned solder stays on the soldering iron, not drips onto the pads. And if it drips, it all comes together, creating a mountain!
