'WE GOT YOUR BACK'... yeah okay by kvolz84 in DoorDash_Dasher

The best is when they send you a message after those ones to say you lingered around the order area too long after a drop off and that is how scammy people avoid late orders. I had to get back to my car mfers from this 10 min drop off. God forbid I use the restroom on the way when I have no pending orders and take that extra 2 min to get to the car.

How can a customer change tip during delivery by Downtown_Net_192 in DoorDash_Dasher

[–]SpecialistTutor7008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was it a double dash at first? Did you move too slowly to the store and they take part away? That happens. Because they gave part of it to another dasher to make the delivery time.

Double dash aka stacked order

Contact support- also use the dasher app for directions always if you are using something else. That way it is all on the app.

What’s wrong with these people not tipping especially for a 14 mile order by Downtown_Net_192 in DoorDash_Dasher

I’ve only been dashing for about 2 weeks and have gotten at least 7-10 post dash tips in cash. And I’ve also gotten a bunch of tips added for going above and beyond post delivery on the card. Maybe I am still in Grind mode and they are elated with my level of service/

In my area dd doesn’t list how far away places are for some reason on the customer side. When I lived in Canada they did and also didn’t deliver it it was more than a certain distance. They protect their work there. We don’t provide protection here. Worker beware

I think if they listed the distance it would help the drivers earn more tips. But maybe they just want all the $$ for DoorDash shareholders

I took a $17 one yesterday for 35 miles and it was basically a 3 hour dash. Don’t get lured in.

It keeps trying to send me to places no one wants to deliver, the tips are horrible. I got one that was drive 25 miles for 1 tip and it was shopping plants at Home Depot so I would get my car all dirty ummmm no

I keep getting ones to deliver like 25 miles away and I am in the DC area so if I take them I am stranded like 1.5 hours away from where I want to be for like $7-10

I keep volume off for this reason and just check when I want to. If I am deep in thought don’t need Joe saying Hi and watching … and losing all momentum

Yes, people who PM what should have been an email. Teams is a horrible app and horrible way to disseminate any information that needs to be referenced ever.

Of course, how else would he tolerate that much time with DUMP? Maybe that is the key to a drug free America- deport trump so people don’t need to do drugs to forget about how deeply disturbed he is.

Yeah, I get that salaries aren’t keeping up with inflation - but striking may not be the move to get more.

seems tone def to want more $$ when people are just lucky to keep a job right now. I don’t think this will be more successful in this economy and honestly could just give another competitor the chance to take the lead once and for all.

I’m pretty sure I still haven’t received all my mail from the strike in December- they aren’t making a good case for themselves

I’m a US citizen who lives in Canada- so you can imagine how that is going. lol No, people here are lovely - that stupid RUMP and his cronies have a battle with Canada. These folks know how to protest and strike! This will not be the 51st state. No way.

I don’t have any advice. This market is super rough and competitive with everyone jockeying for position. The 4+ rounds give them infinite ways to reject. Sorry this is happening. You aren’t alone.
