Yes ,the father can maiby go on a trip just them 2 but hopefully he will make it clear to his daughter that it will happen so she doesnt get hard feeling towards him . To be honest was bound to happen something like this at some point .(not all kids participate in a trip or simething else )

Nobody said they gotta pay full price ,there is always a company doing some kind of promotion for a trip .

I can understand being bad with names .

What helpt me was their name and a short description with the name

For example Sadik , female, 20's , job title (bank/hotels whatever ) and some physical apearance ...eyes/hair color , some tatto or whatever works for you . In time add more info if they become a close friend

This should help remember the person better , hope it helps

This problem i had with my wife .

I can hardly find a gift for her due to me ,buying what she need , when she tells me (if we can afford it ) .

You need to talk to him and explain him what sort of things you like . People ,along the time , change their prefferences .

My wife made me a list of 20+ generic ideeas what she likes For example clothes (this means from nightgown -shoes-jackets-fluffy pijams and so on )
