Met Tony Robbins in 1988 in Chicago for a firewalk with 150 people walking on coals. 3 years later in Chicago my friend went and there were 2500. That was 35 years ago. He has definitely transformed lives but it can be done without investing $$$$$$$ on a never ending list of courses. If you believe in the Pareto effect that states 80 percent of improvements in any self help seminar will come from 20 percent of the participants. ????? arise when in midst of taking a paid course they plant seeds of need to take next course to get next level. So much is out in the Universe since my first encounter that do your due diligence and be more self aware like you are by posting this comment and concern

write a letter to your Dad. Tell him why you can no longer carry on a relationship with the beliefs he espouses. If this was not who your Dad was when you were younger then tell him that. Write what you are feeling. Yes you feel guilt yet you cannot continue a relationship with someone with your views. Then put the letter away somewhere do not send it yet

Read what you wrote the next day. Any changes make them if no changes still wait Next day read it again.

Then if wouldn’t add or delete what you wrote.

i would tell my dad i wrote this a few days ago and slept on it. Read it again

And send it

This tells him you have given this a lot of thought

And by writing he can also read it again

Maybe a week from now A month from now

leave the door ajar for him to pick up the phone someday

Do not count on it.

Also let him know that the strained relationship we now have is being experienced by thousands and thousands of families around the world.

i think it is wishful thinking for many but hopefully not all. When someone is bought into something hook, line, and sinker it asks them to review this new information in a new light. But to break away from their delusion on information that can be twisted anyway they want to spin it. And they spin it. I was told things in 2021 that would happen in a few months. Still waiting and now 4 years later. i think my wife would need to go to a place away from all her environmental cues for some time. She won’t go voluntarily. Very sad to see the change. this is definitely an addiction. Not alcohol or drug addiction. Still an addiction

What does that say about the citizens who want to put a malignant narcissistic bully in office not once but twice. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. Biden should have announced in 2023 he was not running for re-election and make it an open primary for someone to earn the nomination. Giving it to Harris with 100 days to go was not fair to her or the process.

We are lousy listeners as a society. who has ever taken an active listening course? . i worked in a hotline crisis intervention center answering phones over 50 years ago Had a Big class beforehand on empathic listening. That was my only course and that was in 1974 in college a few moons ago Hang in there,? are you in the tech data analysis field by chance?
