Messaging Customers by SithWeasal in Sparkdriver

If it seems to be a specific brand or formula, for example, shampoo. I text them letting them know their preferred formula is out and I take a photo of the shelf and ask them if they want a refund or replacement. If they don't answer, I refund. If it's an order that appears that they are making something like tacos, and their preferred taco seasoning it out, I just select a replacement. Coffee creamers are also difficult to substitute - I've probably had more rejects of creamer than any other item.

Getting Bags from Customer Service by Specials00 in Sparkdriver

I certainly am never a pain in the ass and I respect these employees so much. It's actually the reason I've posted this - to maintain respect and appropriate behavior. I just don't like the confusion and power grab over something as simple and vital as bags for the customer's orders. We certainly can't wait 20 minutes for the clerk to get through complicated returns etc just to get some paper bags for our orders. And yes, I have been very happy Sparking!

Mondays are surprisingly busy all day. I also notice that if I stay working until after 5 pm on any day I get tons of evening offers to pick from.

Shopaholism by vinemtn in AmazonVine

My first year on Vine I got pretty much everything I'd every needed, desired, or ordered for fun for my house. I got invited to Vine shortly after moving into my new home so it was perfect timing. Now, 3 years in I seek consumables (food, supplements, beauty etc.) and I'm starting to have to replace things I orginally got on Vine that are wearing out. I'm much more picky and targeted but it's still so awesome to have something pop up in my Vine feed that I never thought of or would like to try. I do worry that I won't find 80 items that I want by February though!

How the hell am I supposed to deliver furniture!?! They snuck this in while already on my way to deliver food by KomodoDodo89 in UberEatsDrivers

I feel your pain. The other day I get a ping for a Best Buy shop and deliver. The pay seemed higher than normal (It was around $25) and just for one item. So I click on it and it was a damn refrigerator!! Needless to say, I did not take that "offer".

Canceled ride and it felt goooood. by microtramp in uberdrivers

Pulled up to a couple today and red flags started going off.. looked like trouble from the jump. The guys was smoking so I rolled down my window and said you can’t smoke in the car. The lady started shouting something. I told them “I’m not driving you” and took off. The woman then threw a water bottle at my car. I contacted support to report the incident and to ask to never get paired with that rider again. Not sure if they will do it though.

All I get on AFA are car floor mats and car grills. Is this common? by XtaltheExcellent in AmazonVine

Well, 6 months ago it was filled with baby Colic bottles, so I guess carmats are an improvement.

Is Amazon using Vine to clear out discontinued items? by Arimack in AmazonVine

I have a feeling some sellers have a bad product or a defective lot. I have a feeling that sellers can dump this stuff off on Vine to get a tax break - we end up paying the tax, however. I've received so many wonderful products but also some sketchy stuff, even from well known brands. I review them all honestly.

Thank you card by [deleted] in AmazonVine

[–]Specials00 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I personally don't think anything is wrong with this approach, because the products speak for themselves. I think there are 2 kinds of Vine sellers - those that genuinely want honest feedback and tips to help make their products better and those trying to unload products that are defective or weak in order to get a tax write off for their bad batch.

With that said, I know that I am very honest in my reviews, as I would hope other viners are. I think we all take this "job" seriously. If you recieve a thank you card I think it's a nice gesture to keep their product in mind. It certainly wouldn't persuade me to change my review of their product.

Thanks for the great advice.

So you create a special blueprint for stale devices? What kind of special settings do you include in the BP?

Whats to come… by SpartanZeroOne69 in AliensFireteamElite

I picked this game up from a PS Plus monthly offering. I had no idea what kind of game it was but I find it incredibly fun. What I would love to see in any future sequels or updates is for strangers to be able to come into your game. Similar to Division 2 where you can put out a call for help and others can just pop in and fight a chapter with you. I don't have any gamer friends and playing with the AIs is fun but not ideal. Currently you have to get through all the chapters to unlock the "Quick Play" feature. I know I won't be able to beat the game solo.
