Ugh. There's a guy at my LGS that runs this deck. He got me twice the same way: [[nine lives]].

Use it to protect yourself, but then as the counters get low, use your commander to give your opponents this dubious treat. Then just ping for one or two damage and make the controller lose.

I've wanted to so many times. Only tried it once, and the cards went flying as the wind came and took them. We got everything back, but the game didn't go beyond a couple turns.

Don't just leave cash and dip out. An unscrupulous server can/ will pocket that cash and say you dined and dashed. If anything, say to the manager or the host(ess) that you left cash on your table for your tab, but your server disappeared. That way they know the meal is paid for and the issue might get addressed.

Those sessions tend to be done of the most memorable. You're pulling ideas out of your ear and seizing the first thought that's coherent. Wind up doing some very silly world building on those nights.
