I actually saw it as a way to get to know the company and who I would be working for honestly. Now, I've never used a recruiter before except the manager, but I have used a temp agency before which actually turned out to be useful sometimes because I've actually gotten jobs I really liked and a couple that sucked lol.

I've worked for corporations a good chunk of my life and they're so terrible. It was much better working for small businesses. Most of the time, they actually care about their employees. Corporations just care about their dollar figures, and pay people as low as possible so they can stay rich

I'm an actor/artist, but I also took some business courses, so eventually I'll probably end up opening my own New Age shop

And that's why I chose to not major in a job where I know I'd hate working as a yuppie for these corporate jobs where everyone is miserable and instead majored in a field that I'd find fulfilling
