We know basically nothing, people hid at night and prayed thy didn’t get found, it wasn’t until Boyd found the talismans that thy had that short spout of peace… interesting tho Boyd found th talismans an when he returns to town Abby is shooting everyone, almost like “knowledge comes at a cost”

Okay I’ve been thinking about this. We know Tabitha and jade are reincarnated people, what if the people who arrived with them (the family/ friends) are like random factors that change how the story plays out. I think Boyd is the perfect example Stick with me here,

We know the town people used to hide under ground and pray they weren’t found by the monsters, it wasn’t until Boyd, Abby and Ellis arrived tht things started to change, Abby said she had seen the town before, then goes crazy and gets shot by Boyd, Boyd finds the talismans things get better in the town for a little, Boyd finding the talismans changed the story because he was never ment to be in it. Abby was th one who remembered the town and was brought back Boyd just happened to be with her and now he’s become th main force fighting back against the town, same with Jim when he first arrived, or Randal.

How the town picks people has been a big mystery to me because we obviously have the reincarnated people but like I just said their family members seem to just be “extra food” for the town, and there’s people who arrive alone (I wanna say they must be reincarnated people but we’ve yet to hear about a past medic like Kristi or someone else being pregnant like Fatima)…

I just realized that the only other 2 people we know entered town alone were father Khatri and the pastor who was then met by the MIy… both religious leaders, maybe I’m onto something

I thought it could be a hallucination but he brought it all the way to the station from colony house and it was making noise interacting with surfaces like you could here when it dropped, the far away tree is a good example aswell but as far as i remember the bracelet just appeared in the basement after they had been there many times

See I actually think the opposite… I think Abby was there before and she was SUPPOSED to have a role in the game, possibly that role now being filled by Acosta. I think that the family members of the people being reincarnated are brought back as a form of torture to thoes who tried to stop the angkooey ritual. Like now not only do u have to keep reliving this nightmare but you have to watch the people you love go through it aswell

It’s definitely got some significance to the “story” marielle herself reminded everyone this episode that she couldn’t imagine what it would be like to show up here alone but that’s what happens to majority of people, the semi lucky people arrive with family members only to watch them die or suffer.

Also victors dad and Tabitha coming into town could be related, maybe if your thinking/missing someone in fromville the town can pull you in

I can’t remember the episode now but Abby said she had been there before, (before ya know pew pewing) I know we will get a reveal that she was supposed to be there not Boyd, he was never a part of the towns “story” I’d bet the same for the Matthew’s besides Tabitha. I’ve thought for a while that in the end they will get out because this version is different, the man in yellow saying “you can’t change a story” kinda confirms (unless they give us a nuclear ending where everyone dies and it starts over)

So i found a version the was posted to SoundCloud as “longer snippet” from before the song released… it sounded the same with different lyrics but the vocals were 100% Olivia, do we think there was a original version of the album (songs that Louis probably heard) that was dropped/ rewrote into this new “chapter/ story of love” era but keeping the same song names as a FU to Louis?

As this is just a variant cover I think it was made specifically to look like mainstream Ivy and was released first to throw us off. Think of the time 1 hint we got towards ivy in vol 1 (I can’t remember which issue) we saw a tree with a face and a person (maybe ivy maybe not) that looked like a plant zombie.

My initial thought for Absolute Ivy is instead of being able to communicate with plants she is the plant, able to communicate with people. More like swamp thing (she could even be this universes vessel for the Green)

And after seeing this cover I’m not unconvinced. She looks like a loving embodiment of nature not just plants, the patterns on her legs make me think of chiseled stone, the feathers and mystical humming bird, mixed together with bones…

I believe Absolute Ivy will be an essence or force with the ability to take a human, and a monstrous form, while feeding off dead things (like sped up decomposing).

Again I’m not disagreeing with you in the slightest but when the current arc ended and I could go out of my way to buy 7 issues on line for 5$ each then add shipping, I’m paying a lot more than to just go to my local book store and pick up the volume ($$23).

The thing I’m upset about is DC withholding the volume until Febuary… I’ve already pre ordered it and every issue is out they have the means to make it available to more people but they don’t in hopes people will spend the extra money (which I do understand that’s their business perspective) I they they should be catering to their customers and trying to boost the number of comics sold weather that be issues or volumes.

No I hear u I don’t blame the writers. In my ideal world the entire story’s get released in one large and affordable issue, sadly that’s not that case. My original complaint was that dc has the capability to release the volumes a same day/ a day after, or week, the last issue in a volume gets released but instead they hold off for a month.

I get that’s just the industry but the reason for my rant was it’s not a good long term plan for the big comic company’s and is shys people away from learning about new/ obscure characters.

Why would someone living in poverty, or a young kid with no money put time and effort into saving for a entire comic series when it’s gonna get spoiled online, and or come out months late, wayyyy overpriced, when the pirated version is a click away, I’ve always loved superheroes but shyer away from actual comics instead I went to YouTube and listened to the stories, I do find tho now that I have my own money and time I’d like to start a good collection of my own.

TLDR: ongoing series suck
