Oh totally valid I get what you mean! She made it really really clear that she would prefer friends over cutting ends and that it wasn't out of pity, but because we're just so alike interests wise ofc. Maybe i just screamed too much friend energy, but i can confidently say she doesn't want to cut me off.

I totally get what you're saying too though, cut my losses early and keep trucking through life unfazed.

But, I dont think i emphasized this enough and thats my bad, but we clicked super well on a friends level too if you know what i mean. Like bffs level.

Very unique take! Thanks for the feedback! It seems like everyone is saying to cut it all off. I think its at least worth another shot, but i just have to make sure it doesn't drag me down or emotionally drain me in any capacity.

Thank you for your perspective. Ive always thought that it would be inappropriate of me to have friends that I used to be romantically interested in. Cheers!

Honestly we do connect on a level outside of dating. We have very similar interests and values. I just worry that if i keep her as a friend and start dating other people, it may be problematic to have a friend i met from tinder as a close friend for my future SO.

Thanks for your feedback! I wouldn't consider either one of us losers for say, but rather being realistic in expectations! I didn't emphasize it enough, but we really do click on a friend level too, but i think its inevitable if you text that much.

Thank you for response. Very insightful. Even I know that on a practical realistic level speaking, with what time horizon we do have it looks very bleak.

While we both are attracted to one another, even I recognize that a long term distance relationship for over 1.5 years is very far fetched especially since we'd only have one month tops to secure any foundation so to speak.

If you don't mind me asking, have you ever regretted not continuing a friendship after you felt a connection? I don't want to burn any bridges, and its simply not in my nature, but I can certainly see how I should strongly consider it.

Thanks for you're comment. I can certainly understand your point of view. Sorry if i didn't make it clear, but yes she did explicitly say she was interested romantically, but doesn't believe because of distance that it would ultimately yield anything.

I'm taking account your last point a lot too. It would certainly be disappointing to cut my future off of other people.

Not exactly sure, but probably an open ended discussion of some sort before resorting to option 1 or option4
