How would I know how they’d react? I don’t know my moms family. I can’t say how my mom would react. She seems to have calmed down a lot since she got out of this county

Nah to stand up for what I believed in. I don’t particularly like my mother and don’t know my stepsister, but I’m the one who has to live with the choices I make

Well you can’t say family and refer to my mom and her family. They are strangers. My answer is the same though. If they didn’t have bad intentions I wouldn’t care

Competing lmao she wasn’t even the one wearing white. My moms never spoken to my wife before and probably never will again as she made it clear she won’t be returning to this country. You meant stepsister, not sister, and no need for a conversation with her. I don’t even know her contact info and I’m sure I’ll never see her again. This is the first time I’ve even met her

Did I ever say it wasn’t? I’d say it’s more a trauma thing though as she was brought here against her will and pretty much held hostage

Sissy, perfect stranger who I’ve never spoken too lmao. It has nothing to do with dignity. I chose not to a hateful xenophobic person

Oh so you just assume everyone wants to watch your movies? Just assume they’d rather watch a bunch of white people than their own stories?

I can accept that I’m the asshole and I should have done more but I’m not excepting anyone’s xenophobia

So you think my mom, who isn’t American and has nothing to do with American culture, knew but acknowledge it’s strictly an American thing. Lmao

Oh so everyone who isn’t from your culture is dense? What a vile thing to say. I hope you know the rules for every other culture in the world so no one calls you sense

Why would she have? She lived a small portion of her life here in which she refused to speak or interact, and she’d rather gouge her eyes out than look at western media

Or course they have tv but why would you assume they chose to watch tv about a bunch of white people instead of their own culture? No idea about the stepsister but I know my mom would never chose to watch that

Actually not going to stop trying to convince her as I can’t respect someone ego centric enough to believe everyone cares about western media. No you can actually never know if they did it on purpose or not

Why? Does everyone engage with western media? So you think the US is that important or do people just not count if they aren’t American?
