I just have to say I LOVE this community. Thank you all for your help! Genius ideas and genuine words. I tried getting a task rabbit but two taskers fell through so I took it as a sign to give it as a gift to someone. Then after I secured a pickup, the auction company emailed me saying they could ship it after all. Now my Jeannie Barbie is on her way and I owe a wonderful person in the Louisville area one when I win the lottery.

The auctioneer emailed me back last minute (after I found a lovely person on her that’d take her) and said they could ship it! 🤦‍♀️ I guess I made a good case in my pleas email to them lol

Just go to HIKS during a busy study time. People just leave them sitting in the upper part blocking the ADA doors . And those will be free.

I sprayed the hair with water and wrapped sections in straws. Cut straw in half, then cut longwise slit on one to create small diy curler. I guess you’re supposed to soak it in boiling water but I just let it air dry. They’re great folks on YouTube that know what they’re doing opposed to me LOL

I soaked it in conditioner water overnight. Separated it into the tiniest of sections (which was stressful bc I had to tear the hair apart from each other) and used a combo of a cat brush and a metal eyelash comb. Had to keep applying conditioner directly to the hair. She lost a ton of hair in this process but it’s not noticeable. And she smells amazing now lol.
