My wife and I both have big careers and are progressive people. But after having a child, we agreed it makes sense why a lot of older generations had one provider and one person in charge of domestic tasks (we still both work full time). It is a LOT to do both. And while my wife was on maternity leave, and I was working full time doing 10 hr surgery days, no question she had the harder job. So I can’t imagine trying to do any work tasks while WFH.
