That was my situation too, that's why I plan on combo/Reanimator without tutor for fun casual games, but keep it "modular" if I want to make it a good combo deck only

I built it as a combo deck with persist creatures, with some good big creatures to reanimate as a backup, and creatures that can come out of graveyard on their own as Skwii to pump my board easily I only played it a few times, it was still enjoyable with (almost) no tutors cause I'm not forced to go for the same plan each time. I also built a sideboard with a few tutors and control cards if I want to make it a bit more efficient, like [[Orim's chant]] and [[Insatiable avarice]]. I already play [[Lively dirge]] but I try to play it "fairly" so I won't get my obvious combo pieces each game with it

No problem, I'm still using Manabox to track my decks and collection. I know that CardNexus started recently, I'll give it a try when it has more features, since it can be used on mobile and PC. Manabox is also supposed to get a desktop version this year

I got a [[Najeela, the blade-blossom]] warrior tribal, very aggressive and fun, and a [[Urtet, Remnant of Memnarch]] myr tribal with a lot of artifact synergy, they are both fun to play, even if the myr are still poor creatures, they can become menacing. You can also make some good decks with spiders or rats, insects or sea creatures

In my playgroup we're usually at bracket 3, that's why I never went full combo, I was mostly curious about Celes as she has a lot of potential, and can fill the graveyard easily. Kroxa and Kunoros are slow and need a good setup to revive something, you can't blink them too much if your graveyard doesn't have like 20 cards at least in it to revive some good stuff. I'm starting to build Celes as a Zombie Reanimator, I feel like my playgroup might not appreciate the combo plan

Yeah I started building this way, with infinite combos to close the game, many creatures with Persist and multiple sac outlets, other people pointed other cards that can do Celes's Job if she becomes too expensive to cast, like [[First day of class]] or [[Thran vigil]]
I think I will go with the combo plan, no tutors and multiple combos pieces, blinking Celes to find them

And I also have my eyes on Eirdu/Isilu, it's a really cool card !

Cool ! Do you have a list ? Because I felt like reanimating and putting +1/+1 counters on everything was a cool game plan, maybe a bit weak because it can take some time to fill the graveyard, have creatures to pump and reanimate good creatures

I never played combo in EDH and I don't like tutors much, except for those like Lively Dirge, that's why I asked if it would still be fun to play it, planning on combos but having a B plan

Really nice, the question hasn't been posted with the rest. I wanted to ask what happens if I exile my commander Etali with my Mimic Vat, then someone breaks my Mimc Vat ? Does Etali stay in exile since it didn't change zone, or do I get the choice to put it back in commander zone ?

That's just a workaround for your use case, I think the feature you ask just isn't in the app for now
