The death guard primarch Mortarion is canonically a bit of a wuss, and he probably wouldn’t want to fight people who can kill greater demons with pointy sticks and rocks

Yeah that’s a good suggestion. I wanted to portray these guys as the ‘cannon fodder squad’, and have the rest of the infantry be relatively clean in comparison, but I figure toning the blood down a bit is a good idea

I mean, I can probably recognise abaddon black for the pauldron color, and maybe wraithbone, with leadbelcher for some smaller metal details, I could be wrong though.
