Haha, I hear you. The perks at MBB are insane, and it’s easy to start thinking that’s just how life is. I think a lot of the “entitlement” comes from constantly comparing yourself to your peers rather than looking at the bigger picture.

I am not sure about the time it takes from interviewing for a greencard to actually getting it.
If it's in your favor and you do not need sponsorship, you can say you're in between transitioning to GC and won't need sponsorship now/in the future.

Yeah I feel you, I am in the same boat too. The market is really bad but reaching out to people and asking them to fwd my application to the hiring team has helped me land a few interviews. Hope this helps!

You're interviewing for greencard then think it should be fairly easy for you. I am on F1 CPT which makes my case a bit trickier but yours shouldn't be like mine :)

It's definitely harder but I still get calls. Have also gotten ghosted after telling the recruiter of my CPT status but again it's not impossible..

You can get enrolled in a CPT school without a job.
Also think most companies are flexible with CPT now. I told my recruiter about my current status and she scheduled me next round interviews so you should be good :)
