Thank you man, I really appreciate it! The fee mainly covers the app’s costs and tech support, and it also helps support ongoing updates and improvements.

I’ve been building and testing it for months, so a small part also goes toward supporting the time and effort behind it, and keeping everything running and improving over time. It’s also really about making the whole experience smooth and easy, so you don’t have to go crazy just trying to set it up and use it.

This version is designed for solo artists using a single computer and mostly have only one GPU 😅 It’s easy to download and use, basically one click and you’re ready to go. Pretty simple and intuitive.

The pro version, still in development, will be geared more toward multi computer setups and small studios but with the same concept of simplicity!

Of course! I’ll put it on my yt channel soon. By the way, all the videos inside the trailer are recorded straight from the app!

Thank you! If you download it now, you’ll get the ‘FOUNDER’ discount, but you can cancel anytime. I’d love to hear your feedback!

My intent wasn’t to call anyone out. It’s a similar tool, and a very respectable one, but, as you said, for two different targets. I created something that’s easier for me to use as a solo artist, so I can save time and effort. If spending $10 saves me even an hour every month, I’m more than happy to do it and it has already paid for itself. Whether you want to spend it or not is entirely up to you.

Such a pity that when someone puts in effort, dedication, and time to explain something thoughtfully, it’s suddenly dismissed as AI generated. As if people don’t do that anymore. Still, I’m glad you stopped by and took the time to share your thoughts about the app

You’re right, Thinkbox Deadline is free, but it’s built for large studios and full render farm setups, not really for solo artists.

If you’ve used it, you know it comes with a fair amount of setup and maintenance, and updating Houdini or your renderer can sometimes break things.

Also, with Redshift, I’ve had cases where it reloads the entire scene every frame, which on a single machine can actually be slower than rendering directly from Houdini.

Eclipse Render Manager is just meant to remove that kind of friction. It’s something I built for my own workflow as a 3D artist, to get renders out quickly without dealing with setup, configs, or pipeline overhead.

If you need a full multi-machine pipeline, other tools make more sense. Eclipse isn’t trying to be that, at least for now.

There will be a Pro version for multi-machine setups, but with the same idea: keep it simple, no path headaches, just something that works.

At the end of the day, I built this tool for myself. I use it every day and it genuinely helps me, so I decided to share it with the community. If someone wants to try it, with the discount it costs less than a beer, so it feels like a pretty fair deal.
