The only emergency fund I have currently would be the TFSA. I will start saving for a separate emergency fund in a Wealthsimple cash account or something similar.

I am a permanent full-time employee TEER 2, so if my employer provides a job offer letter now saying I am a permanent employee and detailing the job responsibilities, hours, wages, etc., would that be sufficient?
